The Philippine Women’s Sepak Takraw took a massive entry into the podium spot of Women’s Quadrant, finishing with bronze at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand. Our Sepak Takraw contingent tallied a total of three bronzes from the tournament.

The team is composed of Jean Marie Sucalit, Rachelle Palomar, Mary Ann Lopez, Abegail Sinogbuhan, Nieva Jane Salon, and Kristine Lapsit. Salamat sa karangalan, Team Pilipinas!

What a spectacular show of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship! 🙌
Last December 2024, the 1st Tournament of Sepak Takraw and Teqball Club was successfully held, led by our dedicated Club President Mrs. Lorman Joy Laroza and Tournament Manager Mr. Jeremiah Taclay, with invaluable guidance from Mr. Dante Eisma and the full support of the Barangay Council of San Miguel.

🔥 A total of 21 amazing teams battled it out on the court, bringing their best to earn the coveted championship title.

👑 CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS:
🥇 Champion – Elyu Lightning Thunderz
🥈 1st Place – DMMMSU Stingers A
🥉 2nd Place – R1AA Boys (STNHS)
🏅 3rd Place – DMMMSU Stingers B

In an intense final match, Elyu Lightning Thunderz fought with heart and fire to secure the crown against the powerhouse team Regu of DMMMSU, coached by the brilliant Mrs. Junabelle Dy, with a final score of 2-1.

Throwback to December 2022, when our very own Team Agoo Sepak Takraw Seniors represented with heart, skill, and grit at the Open’s Men PNG (Philippine National Games)!

Out of 32 provinces and cities across the country, our team proudly clinched 7th place – a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about their dedication and sportsmanship.

👏 A big salute to our athletes and to their ever-passionate coach, Ms. Lorman Joy Laroza, for guiding and inspiring the team every step of the way.
