Almost done with our kids pickleball camp 🎾👏🏽
A few more sessions to go and the progress has been amazing to watch.

At the start of the camp, we focused heavily on coordination, movement, and basic athletic skills. Now the kids are confidently hitting forehands and backhands while understanding the game better each session 💪🏽

But more importantly, they’re enjoying the game, building confidence, and having fun playing with other kids ❤️

That’s always the goal — learn, improve, and love the sport.

Second session focused on the forehand topspin drive 🎾🔥

One of the most used shots during the first 5 shots of the game.

We worked on timing, preparation, contact point, and creating better topspin with control and depth. 👌

Our first session was all about building the foundation — getting the feel of the ball, timing, direction, footwork, and consistency.

Step by step, we build confidence first before adding more details into the game. 💪

Working on shadow swings and muscle memory with the kids today 🎾🔥

Kids learn best through repetition, movement, and fun activities that keep them engaged. Instead of just feeding balls the whole session, we mix in games and drills that mimic actual pickleball shots and situations. 👌

We alternate between learning the details of the shot and playing activities that help them naturally apply the movement.
Fun first… then confidence and consistency follow. 💪

Recovery is part of the grind 💪

This is what a 1 session beginner level looks like.

This is the second session of Jamil and he brought along his mom. It is her mom's first session and barely playing pickleball.

We focused on timing, footwork, form ,and ex*****on which results in solid and consistent shots.

Now they have both consistent forehand drives and solid serves.

We ended the session with a game with rallies of at least 5 rallies per point which is a huge achievement for beginners.

Let's go with the two handed backhand on our next session. My favorite shot!
