The Division Athletic Association Meet 2025 formally announces the Arnis Event to be held on November 28, 2025, beginning at 8:00 AM at Antipolo National High School (ANHS). This event highlights the dedication, discipline, and athletic excellence of participating student-athletes as they honor the rich tradition of Filipino martial arts. Join us as we witness the skill, sportsmanship, and passion of our young Arnis practitioners as they proudly uphold the spirit of this esteemed Filipino martial art.

Gagawing mandatory ang arnis sa sports activities sa mga pampublikong paaralan, kasabay ng nalalapit na pagpapatupad ng school sports clubs (SSCs) ayon sa Department of Education (DepEd).

Ayon kay Education Secretary Sonny Angara, bahagi ito ng mas malawak na layunin ng DepEd na pag-ugnayin ang kalusugan at pagtugon sa "learning loss," alinsunod sa panawagan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na gawing malulusog at mas aktibo ang mga Pilipino.

Sa ilalim ng SSC program, daragdagan ng dalawa hanggang tatlong oras kada linggo ang mga supervised sports activities bilang karagdagan sa Physical Education (PE) curriculum.

Bagama't gagawing mandatory ang arnis, mag-aalok din ang programa ng iba pang sports depende sa interes ng mga estudyante, kasabay ng pagbibigay ng kinakailangang pasilidad at kagamitan.

Boluntaryo at bukas para sa lahat ang pagiging miyembro ng mga sports club, kasama ang learners with disabilities (LWDs) at mga mag-aaral na nasa ilalim ng Alternative Learning System (ALS).
