Press Release: 2nd Masskara Beach Volleyball


The 2nd Masskara Beach Volleyball tournament was held at the University of Saint La Salle Sandbox. The 17-under category took place on October 12-13 and 19-20, while the open category was held on October 21-24, 2024. Participants came from different regions and schools.

The tournament featured both youth and open divisions, giving players of various skill levels the chance to compete. Across multiple weekends, players displayed skill and teamwork, bringing energy to the sand court.

The 1st Mayor Albee Benitez Masskara Swimming Cup took place at the Saint John’s Institute Sports Pavilion on October 19-20, 2024. A total of 351 swimmers participated in the event.

The 3rd Masskara Tchoukball Tournament took place at Bacolod City College Activity Center from October 18-20, 2024. The tournament featured 8 teams, including Team Singapore. The event was attended by Mr. Delane Lim, President of the Tchoukball Association of Singapore and President of the South East Asia Tchoukball Federation.

An exhibition match between Team Philippines and Team Singapore highlighted the event, showcasing the skills of both teams and further fostering international collaboration in the sport. The tournament brought together local and international players, promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The event was attended by Mr. Ting Ledesma, President of the Philippine Table Tennis Federation. Over three days of matches, the competition brought table tennis enthusiasts together as part of the Masskaralympics celebration.

The 1st Mayor Albee Benitez Masskara National Pickleball Cup was held at Bacolod Tay Tung High School on October 12-13, 2024. The event saw 196 participants from different regions.

As a newly added sport to the Masskaralympics, the National Pickleball Cup marked its debut with a solid turnout. Competitors engaged in matches throughout the two-day event, signaling growing interest in the sport and adding variety to the Masskara festivities.

The 1st Mayor Albee Benitez Masskara Frisbee Cup was held at the STI - West Negros University Football Field on October 12-13, 2024. The disc tournament had 317 participants and featured 16 participating teams.

As the first-ever Frisbee Cup of the Masskaralympics, the event was seen as a success, drawing a strong turnout and enthusiastic participation. Teams competed throughout the two-day event, showcasing the growing interest in the sport and setting the tone for future Frisbee competitions in Bacolod City.
