Improving each player’s confidence in controlling the ball, contributes significantly to the team’s overall performance. When each player’s individual skills and strengths are developed, this pulls the entire team closer to achieving their goals together.🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

RECAP — FC140 joins the National Heroes’ Day tournament for a second time in a row. Our U8 and U12 teams’ skills were put to the test as they played against strong local teams from Iloilo. The players have showcased improvement in their performances, always ready to give 140%.

The U8 category did exceptionally well, bagging multiple deserving wins. Although we missed reaching the semis by two points, our young players showed a great leap of improvement in their individual performances and team effort. We are so proud to see the growth of our youngest players on the pitch.

Additionally, our U12 category played their best. With the Team A and Team B divisions, each player was given their time to shine. After much heated matches, Team A was able to proceed to the semi-finals. Ending the time with a draw, the organizers resulted to a 3v3 match with first to goal basis. Within less than half of the match, the team was able to score — claiming the 2nd Runner Up title.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our supporters for their time, effort and dedication on and off the field.

One of our core players, Zion Moleño, together with his team from his alma mater, the SJI Falcons, carry the Philippine flag as they play in the ASIAN YOUTH CHAMPIONS CUP held in Bangkok, Thailand this weekend.

We pray for victory and the best experience for you, your teammates and coaches during this tournament. Godspeed, Zion!
