Feminist leadership is rooted in collective power, care, and justice. This photo captures moments from our feminist leadership training, where women come together to strengthen their voices, share lived experiences, and build skills for transformative change. Grounded in intersectionality, the training creates space to reflect on how gender, climate, and social inequalities shape leadership—and how women can challenge these systems through solidarity and action. Feminist leadership is not about domination or hierarchy; it is about collaboration, accountability, and uplifting one another. Through dialogue, reflection, and collective learning, participants reclaim leadership as a practice of care, resistance, and community-building. This training recognizes women—especially those from marginalized and Indigenous communities—not only as participants, but as leaders, knowledge holders, and change-makers. By investing in feminist leadership, we are cultivating resilient communities and nurturing leaders who center justice, inclusion, and sustainability. When women lead with empathy and courage, movements grow stronger and futures become more just.

Locating women in Climate Change and Climate Justice means recognizing where women already stand—at the frontlines of climate impacts and at the heart of community solutions. In this photo activity, we center women’s lived experiences, stories, and leadership in the face of environmental crises. From managing water and food systems to protecting land, caring for families, and organizing collective action, women carry the weight of climate change while actively shaping resilience every day. Yet their labor, knowledge, and leadership are often invisible in policies and climate decision-making spaces. A feminist climate justice lens challenges this erasure by asking: Where are women located in the climate crisis, and why must they be centered in solutions? Locating women means acknowledging power, inequality, and systemic barriers rooted in patriarchy, colonialism, and economic injustice. It also means uplifting women—especially Indigenous and marginalized women—as agents of change, not just beneficiaries of aid. Climate action becomes just, inclusive, and transformative when women’s voices are seen, heard, and valued.

Congratulations to our cultural youth artists! Let us remember: the end is only the beginning of our collective journey -- one we now walk with greater clarity, connection, and purpose. Let us apply what we learned, strengthen our communities, and move with intention and courage. Magsilbi tayo para sa nakararami at hindi lang sa iilan! Padayon!

Indigenous women carry the stories, strength, and spirit of their peoples—yet they continue to face violence rooted in discrimination, erased histories, and systems that silence their truth. We rise today to break that silence. We stand with every Indigenous woman whose voice has been ignored, whose rights have been dismissed, and whose safety has been denied. Their fight is our fight. Their dignity is non-negotiable. We demand justice, protection, and the full recognition of their rights—over their bodies, their lands, and their futures. Violence against Indigenous women is not just an individual act; it is a political issue, a human rights violation, and a betrayal of our collective humanity. Together, we commit to dismantling the structures and Patriarchy that allow violence to flourish. Together, we lift Indigenous women’s voices, honor their leadership, and build a future where every woman—every community—can live free, safe, and empowered.

When words fall short, movement rises. Youths dancing for change and moving with purpose. Their bodies in motion and voices in action. Their stories in motion where every step speaks. đŸ’ƒđŸ»đŸ•ș
