CIFL extends its heartfelt appreciation to Sir Bert Pascua, president of the Baguio City Checkmate Association, Inc., for taking the initiative in leading the Baguio-Benguet delegation to Olongapo City for the National Age Group Chess Championship. We likewise thank him for coordinating for the billeting of the delegation, for his efforts in securing incentives for the Baguio City players and for facilitating the use of the city bus to bring the delegation safely back home to Baguio City.

The SM City Baguio and the Baguio City Checkmate Association, Inc. are currently in discussions for a potential collaboration centered on board games, aiming to further promote strategic thinking and recreational activities in the community.
