Victoria Camille Tulad-Rosales is a multi-awarded Filipino broadcast journalist, news anchor, and senior political reporter currently working for ABS-CBN News and the ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC).
Victoria graduated from the Rizal High School in Pasig where she was chosen as one of the first cohorts of the AFS-Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program exchange program. At 15 years old, she was placed in a family in Washington, DC and attended the Woodrow Wilson Senior High School for a year. On her return to the Philippines, she entered the Ateneo de Manila University’s Communication Department as a scholar. During her college years, she served as the editor for Matanglawin, the university's official Filipino-language student newspaper, where her writing earned multiple Raul L. Locsin Awards for Student Journalism and Scholarships. She later earned her Master's in Journalism as a fellow of the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ). While working as a Senior News Correspondent for GMA Network, Victoria was once again selected as a fellow for the Asia Journalism Fellowship (AJF) hosted by the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and funded by the Temasek Foundation.
Victoria was driven by a dream to be involved in news and writing encouraged in her by her parents as a young girl. Educational opportunities that offered scholarships and support became a vehicle to achieve and live her dream.
May her story inspire our scholars to "work hard, trust your potential, and live their dream."
