2017 (7th) Season Revised Rules / Guidelines

****OPEN PRO Class / Category
All cars equipped with the following engine are automatically classified as open pro regardless of driver’s experience; and engine displacement.
1. Forced induction ( turbo and supercharged)
2. 7 ports
3. 8 ports
4. 16 valve BMW head
5. KAD 16 valve
6. Individual throttle body (ITB) ALLOWED
Tires
1. Rim 13 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
2. Rim 12 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
3. Rim 10 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
4. Full slick tires NOT ALLOWED

Gearbox
1. Straight cut close ratio allowed
2. Dog box allowed
3. L*D/ Quafe allowed

MINIMUM CAR WEIGHT 720KGS W/ DRIVER

Note: five (5) port engines are also qualified for this class

****1275cc A Class / Category
1. Only five ports A series up to 1380cc are allowed.
2. Fuelling: A. Fuel injection system allowed
i. B. Piggy box allowed
ii. C. Extra injectors allowed
iii. D .Open modification for carburetor as long as one barrel per two (2) cylinders
3. Aspiration : Naturally aspirated ONLY
4. IGNITION : Electronic ignition ALLOWED
i. Distributorless ignition ALLOWED

Gearbox
1. Straight cut close ratio allowed
2. Dog box allowed
3. L*D/ Quafe allowed

Tires
1. Rim 13 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
2. Rim 12 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
3. Rim 10 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
4. Full slick tires NOT ALLOWED

Engine displacement must not exceed 1340cc.
A.Aspiration: naturally aspirated
B.Fuelling:
1. Standard fuel injection ONLY
2. No piggy box
3. No external injectors
4. Open modifications for carburetor as long as on barrel per 2 cylinder
Gearbox
1. Straight cut close ratio allowed
2. Dog box allowed
3. L*D/ Quafe allowed

Tires
1. Rim 13 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
2. Rim 12 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
3. Rim 10 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear

Notes:
A. should the engine be rebuilt midway in the season to be 1380cc, WE ALLOW PROVIDED THAT AN ADDITIONAL 30KGS BE ADDED TO HIS/HER TOTAL CAR WEIGHT. That will then be 750kgs in total.
B. Any drivers caught misdeclaring his/her total displacement are automatically disqualified to race for the rest of the season he/she shall be ineligible for any awards at the end of the season.
C. Should there be a protest regarding displacement, the protesting party shall shoulder the cost of the parts and labor if found innocent.
D. If found guilty, the guilty party will shoulder the cost.

****1.3i Class / Category
Displacement up to 1310cc ONLY
a. Camshaft: Open modification for camshaft
b. Fuelling:
1. Standard SPI or MPI system WITH unmodified factory Rover MEMS Ecu box
2. No piggy box allowed
3. Unichip not allowed
4. No extra injectors allowed
5. Bored out throttle body NOT ALLOWED.
6. K&N air filter allowed
Aspiration: naturally aspirated ONLY
Gearbox
1. Straight cut close ratio allowed
2. Dog box allowed
3. L*D/ Quafe allowed
Tires
1. Rim 13 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear
2. Rim 12 radial tires or semi slick AO48 or similar tread wear

A.Any drivers caught guilty by misdeclaration of his/her displacement are automatically disqualified for the restof the season and shall be ineligible for any award at the end of the season.
B. Any driver caught using a throttle body beyond the standard size are automatically disqualified to race for the rest of the season and shall be ineligible for any awards at the end of the season

****998cc Class / Category

A. Cylinder head: 5 port ONLY
1275 cylinder head allowed
B. Fuelling: Carburetor ONLY

Kaikkonen wins back-to-back in Round 6 of the 2015 Phil. GT Championship | Autodeal All roads led to the Clark International Speedway (CIS) last November 8, 2015 for the 6th and final round of the 2015 Yokohama Philippine GT Championship. After missing most of the action this year, Finnish driver Veli-Matti Kaikkonen finally got back into form and dominated with a back-to-back win.
