โThe excitement and competitive spirit of the Borongan City Sportsfest 2026 culminated in a memorable awarding ceremony held yesterday, October 3, 2026, at the Arayupan Gym, Brgy. Campesao, Borongan City, following the thrilling basketball finals in both Open and U17 categories.

โThe program opened with a heartfelt message from City Mayor Hon. Dayan Caspe Agda, represented by ABC President Hon. Cheyney Ibarbia. During his message, Hon. Ibarbia reaffirmed the Cityโs commitment to supporting the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation, expressing that the city government will continue to support the SK Federation Office in providing the necessary budget for the upcoming Borongan City Sportsfest 2027.

โThe awarding ceremony followed, recognizing the winning teams for their outstanding performances and presenting certificates and awards in recognition of their dedication, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

โMeanwhile, SK Federation President Hon. Jimuel L. Adona delivered a message of gratitude, expressing his appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the Borongan City Sportsfest 2026.
