Schedule of Games for the 2025 Foundation Anniversary Chess Tournament for Round 1

Round 2 and 3 will also be conducted on Saturday depending on the available time.

2025 Intramural Chess Tournament
Guidelines:

1. Each Team can register up to 2 players for both Male and Female Category
2. Each registered player will play 10 rounds with different opponent decided by the pairing application so please notify you players to continue playing until the end for the pointing system will be based on the number of wins and losses.
3. The 10 rounds will be divided in to two categories and will be using Swiss System on Pairing. The Categories are as follows:
---Standard 30mins + 5s delay for Writing Notation
---Blitz 5mins + 3s Increment without notation
4. We will be using score sheets for the reporting of results therefore it is a must that all players must know how to write chess notation on for the Standard Category.
5. Pairing and scheduling of the games will only be possible after completing the registration or the current round of the game. For the coaches, please make sure that your registered players is aware of the posted updates.
5. Announcement of pairing, schedule, and results will be through different means:

Guidelines on the scheduled play
1. Please always be aware of the scheduled time, your opponent, and your piece color
2. Arrive at the designated venue before the allotted time, your asynchronous sched are already put into consideration before scheduling that is why a 15 min grace period before defaulting will be applied.
3. Bring with you your phone installed with a chess clock application. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chess.clock
4. Fill up the score sheet with the needed information, especially the Date, Board Number, Correct Color Designation of players, Notation(for standard only), Result, and players signature. Results can be void if not filled up correctly.
5. Make sure to always check the posted results for any possible error correction.

Guidelines sa Paghiram ng Chess Boards, Mats, Clock:

1. Isulat po sa log book ang detailye ng lahat ng mga hiniram per gamit every time na hihiramin at ibabalik
---Date, Time Borrowed, Time Returned
---Name and Section (pwedeng paghatian ng maglalaro ang entry | P1-Board, P2-Clock)
---Item Code (yung code na nakasulat sa board, mat or clock)
---Purpose (for training/Official Match/Challenge Match)
---Remarks (Report condition kung complete or may kulang na piece)

2. Make sure po na icheck ang condition ng lahat na hihiramin bago ilabas ng lab. wag ilabas kung may problema ang item para di mapahamak. Isulat sa log book under remarks ang condition ng lahat ng nahiram.

3. Huwag gamitin at ireport agad ang problems like missing piece, low bat, damage board. Isulat ito sa pani bagong entry or linya ng logbook.

4. Huwag pong kukunin ang pieces sa ibang board or mat para gamiting pamalit sa nawawalang pieces na gamit nyo.

5. Magiwan ng ID. (Kung gusto nyo magkaroon tayo ng Club ID for Identification at borrowing use)

6. Siguraduhing nacheck condition at nabilang ang chess pieces ng mabuti pagkatapos maglaro at bago ibalik.

Mga addition Guidelines at updates para sa club rating:

1. Pwede na pong makirating ang elementary players with an initial rate of 800. Mag register lang po by playing an official recorded match with your classmates or challenge an existing members tapos isubmit ang result para marecord.

2. Pwede na rin pong ichallenge ang players across categories (Boys, Girls, Blitz, Standard) para sa mas malinaw na overall rating

3. Mas maraming laro, mas tataas ang inyong club rating

4. Magagamit din ito para sa proper pairing ng mga susunod nating club tournaments kagaya ng nalalapit na Intrams Tour

5. Hindi makakaapekto sa result ng tournament ang rating pero makakasama po sa recording ang mga results ng tournament para maupdate ang club rating.

6. Submitted Official Results na completely filled-up lang po ng mga matches ninyo ang acknowledge na maisama sa recording including kung anong category ng laro.

7. Take note po na applied parin ang rulings natin per game category:
---STANDARD 30mins w/ 5s delay plus Notation
---RAPID 20mins, no delays/increment, no notation
---Blitz 5mins +2s increment/bonus, no notation
---Blitz (High) 3mins +2s increment/bonus, no notation

Heto na ang Rating Natin nitong nakaraang tournament: With initial rating of 800 and changes as you play onwards.
(TAKE NOTE: Combined na po dito lahat ng games ng Standard at Blitz pero HINDI PO KASAMA ANG DEFAULT AT FIXED MATCH kaya magkaiba po ang Tournament Result sa Club Rating)
