𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗣–𝗖𝗗𝗢 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀

𝗢𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗕𝗘𝗥 𝟮𝟴—Displaying unwavering discipline and strength, Jonray Anoos of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Cagayan de Oro clinched the bronze medal in the MASTS Karatedo 2025 Finals, competing in the Kata Advance Category division under the –75 kg category.

Karatedo Coach Joseph Martin Eder shared, “Although modernized na ang mga kata karon, it’s refreshing to see athletes who continue to uphold traditional forms. The competition was intense at the advanced level with many skilled contenders, but as a coach, I was expecting jud na mo daug.”

Out of 14 participating State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and 12 competitors in the Advance Kata category, Anoos stood out with his precision and composure, securing a remarkable finish that brought pride and recognition to USTP–CDO in this year’s MASTS Karatedo competition.
