PBA legend Jojo Lastimosa went back to Cagayan de Oro; not for the spotlight, but for the kids. The Jolas Cup has been giving young ballers a real shot since 2004, and watching it come back stronger this year with the support of PLDT Home? That's what it looks like when people actually show up for the next generation.

He said it best, "This is where many dreams begin."

And isn't that the truth. So many of our kids have the talent. What they need is someone to believe in them first, create the space, and say "You belong here."

That's not just basketball. That's life.

Whether it's your anak, your pamangkin, your inaanak, let's cheer them on. Let's be the adults in the room who show up, who invest, who remind them that their dreams are valid.

Happy Monday, sissumz! Let's start the week with some real talk. 💛

Growth doesn't happen while we're protecting our ego.

One of the most beautiful things about walking in faith is getting to a place where you can look at yourself honestly and say, "That's something I need to work on." No defensiveness. No excuses. Just a quiet, humble surrender. That's not weakness; that's spiritual maturity right there.

God can do SO much with a teachable heart. But when we keep hiding behind "this is just who I am," we end up standing in the way of the very healing and transformation He's already prepared for us.

And sis, Jesus didn't come so we could stay stuck. He called us to be renewed. Refined. Transformed. Day after day, layer after layer. Real faith isn't about pretending we're perfect. It's about being honest enough to hand Him the broken, messy parts and trusting He knows what to do with them.

A soft heart is where God does His best work.

🆕Nobody warned me that perimenopause would feel like this.

The hot flashes, the weight gain that came out of nowhere, the joint pain, the anxiety, the mood swings - and most of all, that quiet, devastating feeling of not recognizing yourself anymore.

I used to feel so strong. So confident. So like ME.

And then something started to change.

For so long I thought I was overreacting. That it was stress. That I just needed to push through. But it wasn't in my head, it was a real, biological transition happening in my body. And once I understood that? Everything started to shift.

On the blog today, I'm sharing my honest experience with perimenopaus; the physical stuff, the emotional toll nobody talks about, and what actually helped me start feeling like myself again. 💪

This one's for every woman in her 40s (or late 30s!) who's been Googling symptoms at 2am wondering what's happening to her body.
