Last March 27, 2026, the CSSC Cabinet reconvened for the fifth meeting of the term. The council gathered to evaluate progress and prepare for upcoming events for the remainder of the semester.

With every milestone, we reinforce our commitment to serving the Computer Studies community with excellence. We are now strengthening our efforts for the final phase of the KOSMOS, ensuring that every initiative effectively addresses the needs of our Wizards. 💫

[ADVISORY] Flexible Class Arrangements in Higher Education in response to the Middle East Crisis

In response to the call for flexible learning arrangements* and in support of the University President’s call for measures amidst the Middle East Crisis, the Office of the Vice President for Higher Education will implement these arrangements effective April 6, 2026.

➤ Classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Saturday will be held onsite.

➤ Classes on Thursday & Friday will be delivered synchronously or asynchronously via Canvas LMS.

*All Laboratory and Related Learning Experience (RLE) classes shall be conducted onsite, regardless of schedule.

Additionally, we are still waiting for confirmation from the OVPHE on whether classes that meet only once a week will still be held onsite, even if scheduled on a Thursday or Friday.

March 5, 2026 | Basketball Finals 🏀

The court was electric for the Basketball Finals, delivering two unforgettable games:

- Cyrene beats Ignitra at the Mens Championships, with a close battle scoring 53-51!

- Ignitra took over the win over Veylor at the Women’s Championships, finishing with a 17-10!

They played with heart and executed perfectly to ignite the grid. Congratulations to all the players!

In celebration of the 11th Anniversary of the Magna Carta of Students’ Rights, College of Computer Studies Student Council joins the Xavier Ateneo community in reaffirming our commitment to protect and uphold the rights, welfare, and participation of every Xavier Atenean.

In line with this, the XU-CSG Students’ Rights and Welfare (STRAW) Commission launches the Atenean Centralized Toolkit (ACT)—a digital helpdesk designed to streamline student assistance and grievance reporting within the university.

Through initiatives like ACT, we continue the work of ensuring that every Xavier Atenean has a space where their concerns can be heard and properly addressed.

Veylor takes the Football championship with a 4-3 against Cyrene!

They mapped out the victory and executed the play to ignite the Grid. Well done!
