Eastside Volleyball

Hello po. Invite namin sana kayo sa odl ng club namin sa Eastside VB Club, Junction, Cainta sa Dec 21. P1500 fee per team of up to 7 players. Cash prize of P4000 and special individual awards.

Our club would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all teams and their players who participated in our recently concluded ODL!

On February 9, 1895, William G. Morgan, a YMCA physical education director, created a new game which he called mintonette, now named volleyball! 127 years full of our favorite sport!

Materials Used:
Cigarette Packs, its Foils and its plastic wrappers, rags, used wires, glue, glue sticks, glitters, christmas lights and paint

Brief Description:
We call our tree, THE WORTH OF CHANGE. With our tree entry, we maximize on the waste itself. We emphasize that no matter what the trash is, it is definitely worth recycling, it is worth reusing and specifically it is worth it to reduce.

Our tree simply speaks for itself, we do not need symbolism. Garbage is gold!

We all face changes every day – whether it is a simple change in the weather, our schedule or expected change of seasons. Change affects us all and we each deal with change differently. This is the only constant in life, the only thing we can be sure will happen and if it is for the betterment of ourselves and the environment, then why not accept change? It is a matter of perspective. If a person decides that he wants to quit smoking, he can quit smoking. If one sees that there's gold in garbage, then it is true that garbage is gold!

Like Hydliyn Diaz’s chase for her gold medal, it was not easy. Changing one’s unhealthy lifestyle is also not easy but it will help that person’s life in the long run. Same as with garbage, if we recycle, reduce and reuse, our future generations will surely benefit from it: A better world, thus, the worth of change is GOLD!
