Due to continued Mt. Kanlaon volcanic activity, the Canlaon Half Marathon 2024 is officially going VIRTUAL from May 15 to June 14, 2025 — giving every runner the chance to complete their distance safely, on their course.

The Canlaon Half Marathon 2024, originally set for December 29, 2024, was put on hold following the advisory from the Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Incident Command System (ICS) due to Mt. Kanlaon’s volcanic activity.

Since then, we have remained in close coordination with the authorities. Our formal request to reschedule the event is constantly under review, and we continue to wait for the official go-ahead. We are fully committed to pushing through with the event once it is deemed safe.

We humbly seek your understanding. All registration fees have been used to fulfill race entitlements, which were paid to local suppliers ahead of the original event date—making refunds unfeasible at this time.

Please know that we have every intention to proceed as soon as permitted. Your safety and the safety of the community remain our top priority.
