📸 OAR kids receive warm recognition in Tagaytay

Yesterday, August 19, 2025, fresh from their podium finishes at the Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Championships in Pattaya, the OAR team were invited for a courtesy call at the Tagaytay office of Congresswoman Aniela Tolentino, Representative of Cavite’s 8th District. 🙌🥈

OAR kids and their parents, together with Barangay Captain Jun Gomez Linayao of Bucana, and Ternate officials Konsehal Che Mojica and Konsehal Ryojie Cachuela were warmly welcomed by Congresswoman Tolentino.

We are deeply grateful for the recognition of our athletes’ hard work and for the continued support in strengthening Philippine rowing. 🚣💙

Our OAR athletes return from Pattaya with hard-earned medals, proving that passion and perseverance pay off. These champions first honed their skills through our grassroots program in Ternate, Cavite, showing how early community-based training can grow into world-class excellence!

The Philippine Rowing Association proudly sends off its official delegation to the 2025 Asian Rowing Beach Sprint Championships, happening this August 4–10 in Pattaya, Thailand.

This fast-paced coastal rowing event brings together top athletes across Asia to race in sprint formats on open water. Representing the Philippines are 13 athletes and 4 coaches and officials, ready to take on the waves and fight for podium finishes. 🌊🚣‍♀️💥
