The first month of the year was for racing. I pushed, I wobbled, and mostly stayed on the track. I finished with the wind in my face and a serious hunger. One bite of a chicken nugget afterward and I was officially knocked out.

Looking back at 2025, I realized it was the year I traded my toddler steps for fast tracks and big adventures. It was a year of "firsts"—my first time feeling the wind on my face, my first time hearing the starting gate drop, and the first time I realized that two wheels could take me anywhere.

I spent the year learning how to find my balance (not without crying), making new friends, and realizing that falling down is just part of getting faster. To wrap it all up, I lined up for one last race of the year. I gave it my absolute all and crossed the finish line in 5th place! 🏁🏆

A very memorable weekend throwback! I raced my first-ever international cup held here in Cebu together with my amazing team Team Sprocket Cebu Push Bike, and we had so much fun! Despite the scorching heat, and the tempting waterpark just a few feet away from the venue, I still did my best and raced my heart out, and did it all again the next day!

It may not have been my time at the podium, but it was a great experience, and I met other racers from across the country and the world.

I took the advice to heart on the track that day, definitely kept moving. I may have come for the race, but I stayed for the post-track balloon and yummies from Daddy and Mommy. 😂🎈🍟
