By the third day of Summer Camp sa Sugbo 2026, everyone was fully immersed in the experience—and quite literally immersed in mud as well. 😂

Day 3 brought some of the most exciting and unforgettable activities of the camp. From teamwork challenges to muddy adventures that tested our determination, cooperation, and willingness to get completely dirty, the day was filled with laughter, energy, and memories that will definitely last longer than the stains on our shoes.

What looked chaotic from the outside turned into some of the best moments of the entire camp. The mud may have covered our clothes, but it also brought out teamwork, resilience, and countless stories we'll be laughing about for years. Participants also showcased their talents through wonderful performances that made the day even more memorable.

The second day of Summer Camp sa Sugbo 2026 was packed with activities, new experiences, and even more opportunities to connect with fellow youth leaders from across Cebu.

By Day 2, everyone was already settling into camp life—names were becoming familiar, friendships were forming, and the energy from Day 1 was still going strong. From participating in various sessions to sharing laughs during breaks and group activities, the day was filled with moments that made the experience even more memorable.

Looking back, Day 2 was one of those days where everything seemed to happen so fast, but the memories stayed long after the camp ended.

Sharing a few snaps from our first day at Summer Camp sa Sugbo 2026 held in Carcar City, Cebu.

The camp officially kicked off with an atmosphere filled with excitement, energy, and anticipation as delegates from different barangays gathered for several days of learning, fellowship, and fun. Day 1 gave us the opportunity to meet new people, participate in engaging activities, and begin creating memories that we still talk about today.

Here’s a look back at how our Summer Camp journey started.

𝐒𝐊 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Held during the successful 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆, SK SHINE 2026 became one of the highlights of the event as we recognized outstanding youth who continue to excel in academics, leadership, sports, arts, and community involvement — all while probably cramming deadlines at 11:59 PM, surviving group works with “seen” groupmates, and pretending everything is under control. 😭📚

To our awardees, this recognition is proof that your hard work, dedication, and sacrifices do not go unnoticed. From honor students, campus leaders, athletes, volunteers, creatives, and youth achievers — you all continue to inspire the community with your passion and determination.

And honestly… maintaining good grades while attending practices, meetings, trainings, church activities, SK events, and still finding time to post dump photos on Instagram? That’s already a superpower. 🫡

SK SHINE is more than just an awarding ceremony. It is a celebration of the youth’s perseverance, growth, and commitment to becoming individuals who create positive impact in the community. Every medal, certificate, and applause symbolized the collective pride of Barangay San Antonio for its young people who continue to rise and shine despite life’s challenges (and despite the emotional damage caused by major exams and surprise recitations). 😭✨

𝐏𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐋𝐘

A successful gathering of empowered, passionate, and active young leaders took place during the 1st Semester Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly — Pakighimamat 2026 — held last 𝙈𝙖𝙮 16, 2026 at 𝙂𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝙃𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙡. ✨

The event became a meaningful avenue for the youth to reconnect, participate, and become more informed about the programs, accomplishments, and future plans of the council. Filled with engaging discussions, shared experiences, laughter, and learning moments, the assembly highlighted the importance of youth participation in community development and governance. 🤝

One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of the 𝘼𝙣𝙣𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙄𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 (𝘼𝘽𝙔𝙄𝙋) 2026, where the council officially introduced its proposed programs, projects, and activities dedicated to empowering and serving the youth sector for the coming year. Through this, the KK members were given the opportunity to better understand the direction, priorities, and vision of the council in creating more impactful initiatives for the community. 🌱

The council also proudly presented its accomplishments for the first five months of 2026, showcasing the various activities, advocacies, outreach programs, youth engagements, and leadership initiatives successfully conducted for the welfare and development of the kabataan. The presentation reflected the council’s commitment to genuine public service, transparency, and active youth involvement. 💙

Pakighimamat 2026 served as an assembly with a reminder that the strength of the community lies in the participation and unity of its youth. The overwhelming support and active presence of the KK members truly made the event successful and memorable.

To everyone who attended and became part of this meaningful milestone, daghang salamat kaayo! May this gathering continue to inspire every young individual to become more proactive, empowered, and committed in making a difference in the community.

This year’s dress code is Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog, so come dressed in your best traditional-inspired formal attire. Ladies may wear Filipiniana dresses, baro’t saya, or long formal skirts, while gentlemen are encouraged to wear Barong Tagalog with formal pants and shoes. Let’s all embrace elegance and culture for the night! 🇵🇭

Please avoid wearing slippers, sleeveless tops, shorts, ripped jeans, sando, and overly casual outfits. Remember: this is not a quick trip to the sari-sari store — this is your moment to serve looks respectfully 😌✨
