A meaningful tribal ritual before summiting the 4th highest peak in the Philippines.

Deep gratitude to the Higaonon Tribe, known as the "People of the Living Mountains" of Mindanao, for welcoming us and sharing their sacred traditions. It was an honor to witness a ceremony that reflects their deep respect for nature, the mountains, and the spirits believed to watch over them.

May we continue to climb with humility, respect, and gratitude for the communities who have cared for these mountains long before us. ⛰️🤟🏼
