USJR Boy Scout Unit

| 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟒 (𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟒) – 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

During 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟰 (𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟰), 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 concluded with a solemn 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀, celebrated by Rev. Fr. James Dexter R. Tanquis, followed by the 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 recognizing the dedication and teamwork of all scouts. The camp officially closed with gratitude, celebration, and thanksgiving for a meaningful journey of faith and service.

| 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 (𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟑)

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 (𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟯), the night came alive during the 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲, filled with performances, fellowship, and a powerful fire dance energizer that lit up the atmosphere.

| 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 (𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟑)

Scouts gathered for the 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, followed by inspiring sessions on 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 and 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, strengthening both character and faith. Scouts also took part in a meaningful 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄, reflecting on purpose, calling, and service to God and the community.

| 𝐕𝐢𝐚 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐬 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞 (𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟑)

Scouts began the day with the meaningful 𝗩𝗶𝗮 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮, journeying in prayer, reflection, and faith as one community.

| 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟐)

Scouts began the day with a Holy Mass celebrated by 𝗙𝗿. 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗹 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀, followed by meaningful sessions on 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 and 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, gaining lessons on leadership, faith, and service.

Today we close the 1st Catholic Scout Camp. Rev. Fr. James Dexter R. Tanquis, OAR, the camp director, reminded the scouts to stand for the truth and to voice out when it's necessary. To be with the Church and to not be afraid.

“You cannot give what you don’t have.”

On 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟏, scouts of the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 gathered for the celebration of the first Holy Mass, taking time to pray, reflect, and seek God’s guidance as we officially began our camp journey together.

During his homily, 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑. 𝐓𝐚𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐬 reminded everyone of a meaningful truth: “𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞,” encouraging scouts to first nurture faith, values, and goodness within themselves before sharing them with others.

| Social Night

A night filled with fun, laughter, and fellowship! Scouts came together during Social Night to strengthen friendships, create lasting memories, and celebrate the spirit of unity in the 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩

A simple yet meaningful evening as we continue our journey together.
