This is the reality in Gibitngil, Medellin, a small island just across the mainland and very close to my heart as it’s my Papa’s hometown. In every calamity, this community is always among the last to receive help. With no electricity, they rely only on generators to survive the dark nights.

After the recent earthquake, 3 lives were lost (including a child) and 1 was injured. With most houses made of light materials, families are afraid to go back inside. Many now sleep in open courts and along roads, unsure of when it will be safe again.

Through Operation Gibitngil—a non-profit donation drive organized by Manyfest Production and friends—we are humbly asking for your generosity. 🙏

Our top priority is gasoline for generators so families can have light and power:

💡 1 generator = 13L of fuel = 4 hours of power

(Currently at ₱65 per liter)

Other urgent needs:
💧 Clean drinking water
🍚 10-kilo rice packs (to minimize repacking)
🍲 Ready-to-eat food packs
🛏️ Banig (sleeping mats)
💊 Medicines & vitamins (especially for children)
