To the Lakbay Community,

Around November two years ago, we started Lakbay with a simple but powerful vision — to build a community of runners moving together toward a healthier and stronger life.

However, due to personal emergencies and health challenges, I was not able to consistently monitor and serve the community the way you truly deserved. For that, I sincerely apologize.

Managing Lakbay manually — handling posts, tracking submissions, updating results, designing materials, and responding individually — truly took a toll on me. I was doing everything on my own, and I eventually realized that while the passion was strong, the system was not sustainable, especially alongside my heart condition.

Honestly, I felt ashamed to reach out to the community. I knew that despite my best efforts, I fell short in serving you the way you deserved. Because of that, I remained silent for a long time.

But that silence was not indifference. It was reflection.

That experience pushed me to build something better — something more structured, more sustainable, and worthy of your trust. I wanted that when I finally returned to you, I would not come back with excuses, but with something I could proudly present. Something that reflects growth. Something that honors the trust you once gave me.

Through that experience, I learned. I grew. Most importantly, I came to deeply treasure the trust you gave me.

And from that journey, Runevo was born.

Runevo is now live as a web-based running companion designed to connect runners, strengthen discipline and honesty, and promote a sustainable, healthy lifestyle through gamified progress and community support.

You are part of Runevo’s foundation. What it is today — and what it will become in the future — was built on the trust you gave me during Lakbay. Today marks its official birth, and you made it possible.

With Runevo, we now move forward with better structure and proper tools. A web app allows us to provide fair tracking, transparent progress, real-time updates, and more consistent support for everyone. It ensures that no effort goes unnoticed and that every runner is acknowledged properly.

The Lakbay Ultramarathon medal remains the ultimate trophy to conquer in Runevo. It is more than just a medal — it represents commitment, resilience, discipline, and heart.
