VANDALISM STRIKES AGAIN: Mitsubishi Truck & Railings Defaced at 6 Towers Trail

‎CEBU CITY- Another act of vandalism marks was seen last night at the 6 Towers Trail, after a Mitsubishi truck and several railings along the trail were defaced with graffiti.
‎
‎Photos and a video of the incident quickly circulated online, sparking outrage among hikers, trail runners, and local outdoor groups who frequently visits the area.
‎
‎The 6 Towers Trail has long been a free, open space enjoyed by the community for fitness, nature, and weekend getaways. However, repeated incidents of littering and vandalism are now putting the future of the trail at risk.
‎
‎“Ang 6 Towers usa ka lugar nga atong giampingan ug gi-enjoy tanan,” a concerned community member said. “Pero kung padayon ang ing-ani nga binuhatan sa mga tawo nga walay respeto, kita tanan ang maapektuhan. Parehas ra ni sa nahitabo sa Spartan Trail.”

‎The person is also calling out those responsible:
‎“You guys are ruining it for everyone. Ang lugar dili basurahan, ug dili canvas para inyong sulatan og hugawan. Ayaw tawn ninyo dad-a sa bukid ang inyong maot nga binuhatan. Please lang.”
‎
‎Community leaders and regular trail users are now urging everyone to help monitor the area and report any suspicious activity. Without collective action, there are fears that 6 Towers may face closure — just like what happened to other trails due to abuse and neglect.

"TEAM PA SLIDE" (TPS), established in 2025 that embraces the muddy, slippery and adventurous nature of trail hiking. Breakdown of Meanings.

➡️The Name & The Motto: "TEAM PA SLIDE" and the slogan "the more you hike, the more chances of slides" use a playful, humorous tone. It highlights the reality of hiking slick, steep trails where slipping or sliding on dirt and mud is inevitable.
