LET’S FACE REALITY.
Alam niyo, alam nating lahat ang epekto ng sobrang paggamit ng online games at excessive screen time sa mga bata at kabataan ngayon. Hindi na natin kailangang mag-denial—nakikita natin ito sa totoong buhay.
BAN ONLINE GAMES, ESPECIALLY FOR KIDS AND YOUNG ONES.
Kung hindi man tuluyang i-ban, at least limitahan at kontrolin natin ang access ng mga bata. Parents and guardians play an important role in setting boundaries and helping young people find healthier and more meaningful ways to spend their time.
Our youth deserve more time for education, sports, family, friendships, outdoor activities, skills development, and experiences that can help build their future.
Instead of allowing an entire childhood to revolve around a screen, let's give our children opportunities to experience the real world.
Let them play.Let them train.Let them compete.Let them fail and learn.Let them discover their talents.Let them dream.
Let’s protect and guide our youth before it’s too late.
This is not about saying that technology or gaming has no place in today's world. Technology is already part of our lives. This is about balance, guidance, discipline, and creating better alternatives for our young people.
And one of those alternatives is SPORTS.
At Davao Circuit Riding Academy, we strongly believe in encouraging the next generation to participate in sports—and for those who have the passion, to discover the world of MOTORSPORTS. 🏁
Because motorsports is much more than speed.
When practiced with proper training, safety equipment, professional guidance, and in a controlled environment, motorsports can teach young people lessons that extend far beyond the racetrack.
Discipline.Focus.Responsibility.Patience.Preparation.Respect.Sportsmanship.Safety.Confidence.Perseverance.
A young racer quickly discovers that simply wanting to be fast isn't enough.
You have to train.
You have to listen to your coach.
You have to understand your machine.
You have to respect the rules.
You have to respect your competitors.
You have to learn from mistakes.
You have to control your emotions.
You have to accept that sometimes you will win—and sometimes you will lose.
And when you lose, you come back stronger.
That is one of the greatest things sports can teach a young person:
Progress takes time.
There are no shortcuts.
🏁 RIDE. TRAIN. LEARN. COMPETE. GROW.
We want to see more children and young people discovering sports instead of spending every available hour behind a screen.
We want to see more families spending weekends together.
We want parents cheering from the sidelines.
We want children excited to wake up because it's training day.
We want more grassroots programs.
More coaches.
More mentors.
More proper facilities.
More opportunities.
And more safe and controlled environments where young riders and drivers can learn instead of trying to discover speed on public roads.
Imagine a generation of young Filipinos growing up understanding that motorsports isn't about reckless riding or irresponsible driving.
It's about control.
It's about discipline.
It's about knowing when and where you can push your limits—and understanding that the racetrack, not the public highway, is the proper environment to do it.
That is the motorsports culture we want to help build.
And somewhere out there could be the next Filipino motorsports champion. 🇵🇭
Maybe it's a child who has never driven a go-kart before.
Maybe it's a young rider putting on a racing helmet for the first time.
Maybe it's someone who simply needs an opportunity.
Today, they're learning the basics.
Tomorrow, they could become a karting champion.
A motorcycle racer.
A professional driver.
An engineer.
A mechanic.
A race technician.
A team manager.
A coach.
Or perhaps one day, they could carry the Philippine flag onto an international racing stage. 🇵🇭🏁
But every journey begins somewhere.
Before the podium comes the practice. Before the trophy comes the training. Before the champion comes the child who was simply given an opportunity.
That is why we will continue advocating for sports, grassroots motorsports, proper training, safety, discipline, character development, and opportunities for our youth.
At the same time, we share this message with heavy hearts.
In light of the tragic incident at Ateneo de Zamboanga, we extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and to everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.
No family should have to experience such loss.
May the families find strength and comfort during this incredibly difficult time. May the community continue supporting one another with compassion, and may justice prevail.
Events like this should also remind all of us—parents, schools, organizations, coaches, communities, and leaders—of the enormous responsibility we share toward the next generation.
Young people need more than restrictions.
They need alternatives.
They need opportunities.
They need guidance.
They need people who will listen.
They need mentors.
They need communities.
They need healthy environments where they can belong.
They need activities that challenge them physically and mentally.
They need something meaningful to work toward.
This is why we should continue investing in education, sports, recreation, arts, skills development, and youth programs.
Instead of simply telling a young person:
“Stop playing.”
Let's also be able to tell them:
“Come outside. Let's find something you love doing.”
Maybe it's basketball.
Maybe football.
Maybe swimming.
Maybe martial arts.
Maybe cycling.
Maybe athletics.
Maybe karting.
Maybe motorcycle racing.
Whatever sport they discover, what matters is that we continue creating opportunities for them to participate, develop, connect, and grow.
Because sports can give young people something incredibly powerful:
A GOAL.
Something to practice for.
Something to improve.
Something to look forward to.
Something that teaches them that their actions today can shape who they become tomorrow.
SPORTS CAN CHANGE LIVES.
And sometimes, giving a young person a track, a team, a coach, a goal, and a community that supports them can help give them direction for their future.
At DCRA, this is the kind of motorsports community we want to help build in Mindanao.
Not simply a place where people come to race.
A place to learn.A place to train.A place to belong.A place to develop discipline.A place to build character.A place for families.A place for the next generation.A place to dream.
Let's spend less time asking our children to live through screens and give them more opportunities to experience the world around them.
GET THEM OUTSIDE.GET THEM ACTIVE.GET THEM INTO SPORTS.GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO WORK FOR.
🇵🇭 FOR THE NEXT GENERATION.🏁 FOR THE FUTURE OF MOTORSPORTS.❤️ FOR OUR YOUTH.
