WE'RE LOOKING FOR A BUILDER.
Not just someone looking for a job.
The Davao Basketball Festival (DBF) is looking for a Festival Operations Manager to help lead the launch of what we hope will become the premier grassroots basketball festival in Mindanao.
This is not a desk job.
This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up.
You'll work directly with Tournament Director Paul Garcia in planning, organizing, and delivering the 1st Davao Basketball Festival, happening on December 19–23, 2026.
The festival has already received the support of the Philippine Sports Commission and the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) Zone XII, and we're now assembling the team that will bring this vision to life.
We're looking for someone who:
🏀 Loves sports and believes in youth development
📋 Is highly organized and detail-oriented
⚡ Can solve problems quickly and stay calm under pressure
🤝 Communicates well with coaches, schools, suppliers, officials, sponsors, and volunteers
💡 Takes ownership instead of waiting for instructions
🚗 Is willing to be on the ground before, during, and after the tournament
Your mission
From August until tournament week, you'll help lead every aspect of the festival—from registrations, logistics, scheduling, venue preparation, volunteer coordination, and supplier management to ensuring every game runs smoothly.
When the opening whistle blows on December 19, you'll know that your work helped make it happen.
This is a project-based position with competitive compensation and the opportunity to grow into a long-term leadership role within Tee to Green Events Management Corp. as we continue to expand our golf, basketball, and pickleball events.
