~Skateboard bushing colors generally correspond to the durometer (hardness) level of the polyurethane material, though color meanings vary significantly by manufacturer.

General Color and Hardness Guide -While you should always check the specific brand's packaging, a common color-to-hardness scale applies to many popular brands

Super Soft (78A - 85A, often White or Clear/Super light colors): Best for lightweight riders, cruisers, or sharp, loose carves.

Soft (85A - 89A, commonly Red or Orange): Great for loose turning and smooth cruising.

Medium (90A - 93A, frequently Orange, Yellow, or Blue): Standard all-around hardness for street skating, offering a balance of stability and turning response. Independent standard blue is typically 92A and orange/yellow is 90A

Hard (94A - 99A+, often Black, Red, or White depending on the brand): Ideal for heavier skaters, vert riding, or anyone preferring tight, stable trucks with minimal wheel bite.
