The universe really said “stay home,” but my stubbornness said “panic-book another flight.” ✈️🇲🇾 Swipe to see the absolute chaotic timeline of how I almost didn’t make it to Friday University.

Has anyone else ever been literally one question away from getting offloaded? ✌️ 😬

Class of 2026, we out! 🎓😎 Friday University just wrapped up, and it was an absolute blast!

Spent the last day at PLAYA Racquet Club @ PARC Subang—hands down one of the most premium courts in Malaysia.

But beneath all the fun, we put in some serious work. Over the past four days, I learned an incredible amount about high-level pickleball mechanics, advanced coaching strategies, and content creation. Being surrounded by such amazing, driven people and fueled by some genuinely great food made the entire experience next-level.

A massive thank you to Team Friday Pickleball Asia Friday Pickleball To Sieu Ee, Grace, Ryan, and our phenomenal Head Coach James—thank you for taking such great care of all of us during this camp. The hospitality was truly unmatched. 🙏🔥

I also want to send a huge shoutout to my incredible sponsors—
Gentle Pickle H + Active —for backing me throughout this entire journey. And to my parents and my bebe Pia, your unwavering support is what ultimately made this happen.

What’s next?
I have so much more content dropping soon, including a mini-vlog series where I reveal how I almost didn’t even make it to this event... stay tuned for that wild story!

To my coaching students: Get ready to level up. We are elevating our sessions heavily based on the knowledge I just acquired.

To the Dumaguete Pickleball community: I am bringing everything I learned back home to share with all of you so we can continue to build a stronger, better community together.

All love 🫶🏼

The final court huddle of Day 1 vs. how the night actually ended. (And yes, the paddle survived HAHAHA)

Friday University is officially underway! After a great meet & greet, fresh gear distribution, and some amazing Nasi Lemak, we set a massive foundation for this cohort:

Pickleball Coaching: We hit the courts hard, dialing in our footwork, refining shot mechanics, and mastering topspin dinks through intense partner drills.

Content & Storytelling: James Lin | Pickleball Insights | 林晓龙 broke down the theory of creating magnetic content, while Eric “ERUPTION” Tai led the practical application to ensure everyone knows exactly how to capture and edit their own journey.

The momentum is locked in and the vibes are unmatched. Let’s see what Day 2 brings. 🔥

The Lady Tower stands tall in Vietnam!

Massive congratulations to the player I have the privilege of coaching, Macy Solon-Ybañez, for absolutely dominating the PPA Ho Chi Minh and bringing home THREE Golds in the Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Women’s Doubles 35+ categories! Watching your dedication, grit, and hard work translate into international titles is exactly why we grind.

Enjoy the view from the top, Lady T, and celebrate this incredible milestone—you earned every bit of it. But remember, the climb doesn’t stop here. Stay grounded, stay hungry, and let this victory be the fuel for what’s next.

We celebrate today, but it’s back to the lab soon. The target just got bigger, and we are just getting started.
