We had a strong run from eliminations to QF, and though the semis didn’t go our way, daghan kaayo ko’g na learn. Proud of how we fought.

What a weekend. 🥒🔥
Three days of great matches, long rallies, and everyone giving everything they had. At the same time, we all felt the challenges too — late finishes, long waits, and the usual power outages that seem to follow tournaments in our area.

This isn’t about blaming anyone. Organizing a tournament is tough, and everyone — players, volunteers, and organizers — pushed through the best they could. But if we want future events to run smoother, feel safer, and be more enjoyable for both athletes and the crowd, it might be time to open up the conversation.

Maybe we can look at scheduling, pacing, match formats, or better plans for situations like blackouts. Whatever the ideas are, it would be nice to hear from everyone who experienced it.

Much love and respect to everyone who stayed until the very end.
Here’s to learning together and making each tournament better than the last. ❤️💪
