What a great performance from the Pacman Chess Academy players! On February 15, 2026, Mico Tanghinan, Louise Patana, and Mats Linke competed at the GSC Chess U-16 Tournament held at Robinsons Place, General Santos City.

Mico Tanghinan emerged as champion, defeating strong opponents with ease. Louise Patana, a 9-year-old player, showed remarkable courage and confidence, taking on high school-level players and securing 14th place, as well as the U-10 award. Mats Linke, an elementary player, also put up a good fight, placing 19th against high school competitors.
