HES-B 3-Day Training Recap | SEVC - HINIGARAN
3 days. One court. One goal.
We arrived at HES-B with bags full of gear and heads full of nerves. Day 1 was about adjusting — to the court, to the heat, to the pace Coach Earl Christian Garnado and assistant coaches, sets the moment he blows that whistle. By Day 2, our legs were screaming and our arms were heavy, but coaches was there reminding us: “Pagod lang ‘yan, pero hindi kayo susuko.” So we didn’t.
Day 3 hit different. Every serve was sharper. Every receive had more intent. Every “isa pa” wasn’t just a drill anymore — it was proof that we could outlast our excuses. That’s what Coach Earl does. He doesn’t just run practice. He builds standard. He builds family.
For three straight days, they gave us his voice, there energy, and there time. Early mornings, late huddles, and every correction in between. They saw us at our weakest and still chose to invest. Because of that, we’re leaving HES-B with more than sore muscles. We’re leaving with trust in each other, confidence in our system, and pride in the name SEVC - HINIGARAN.
To our Coaches: thank you for not taking days off on us. For choosing to be patient when we were slow, and for choosing to be tough when we needed it. HES-B tested our skills. You trained our character.
We came here as individual players. We’re going home as one team.
Thankyou sir B**g & Principal ma'am Cora Capareño
