89th Iloilo City Charter Day Karatedo Championships: Batang Pinoy Selection

​Young karate practitioners display focus and skill during the 89th Iloilo City Charter Day Karatedo Championships, held at Robinsons Place Jaro. This significant event serves as a crucial Batang Pinoy Karatedo Selection for the upcoming national finals in Bacolod City, giving talented athletes from the region a platform to qualify and showcase their abilities.

​The tournament was proudly organized by the Iloilo Tinagan School of Martial Arts, Inc., in dedicated cooperation with the Iloilo City Government. The competition area, set up with vibrant blue and pink mats in the mall's activity center, drew a large crowd of spectators and supporters, highlighting the strong community interest in youth sports and martial arts development in the city.

What an amazing run and well-deserved win! Huge congratulations to Alex Eala for bagging the Women's Singles Championship at the 2026 Mubadala DC Open. Truly making us so proud!

We are incredibly honored to present a matchup between Arvin Espinosa (a dedicated 3-time National Champion!) and Dave Catalan (a renowned National Boxing Champion!). Watching these two warriors, who have represented our country, now battle for pride right here at home is going to be unforgettable.

🔹Age: 5 to 15 years old
🔹Residency: Must be a bona fide resident of Iloilo City
🔹School: Open strictly to public school students
