The Legendary Coach Wesley

I was biking past Westbridge School when I saw someone familiar.

His hair had turned silver white.

“Coach Wesley!” I called out.

He looked up from inside the field, saw me by the fence, and waved.

At that moment, I made a quick U-turn, went inside, and took this photo.

So who is Coach Wesley?

For many parents and players, he is simply Coach Wesley, the legendary football coach. I think almost every boy and every little girl who started football would know who he is.

He is respectful, kind, and carries that quiet, fatherly presence on the field.

He has been coaching for 25 years, not just as a profession, but out of pure passion. And now, you can almost see those years in his silver white hair, each strand a quiet mark of the lives he has helped shape.
