Congratulations Iloilo Chess Bughouse and Tumugdan Chess Clinic on a job well done in the ICC vs TCC Tune-Up Game Part 2.
To our Top 10 players, especially to our 1st place from TCC, Eithan Montalban who dominated the field with a flawless perfect score of 7 points. Equally brilliant were from TCC again, Ruyd Ranelle Chris Tumugdan and Juanito Napalinga lll in 2nd and 3rd place. Alexander Medalla carried for ICB team, grabbing the #1 spot for the ICB team and finishing in the top 4 overall with a 5 points. In top 5, an ICB player, Wenefer Carman secured a spot tying with the top 6 from the TCC team, Chrisia Hope Tumugdan. From ICB team, Hazel Jen Dela Cruz claimed the 7th spot with a score of 4 points. The top 8 to 10, 3 spots were taken by ICB players, Shekinah Reign Puertas, CJ Gabriel Bailingo and John Andrei Bailingo, and 2 by TCC team players, Curl Nicka Garque and Dylan Neo Nufable, all finishing with 3.5 points.. And for the team champion, congratulations TCC team!

CONGRATULATIONS to the dedicated players of Iloilo Chess Bughouse for their impressive performance at the 2nd UICPA Summer Chess Tournament held at the 2nd flr of Robinsons Iloilo. Despite limited formal classes, the team showed exceptional skill resilience and passion for the game. A special shoutout to Shekinah Reign Puertas for her stellar performance, winning as the Elementary Top female 2 with a score of 6.0 out of 8 rounds. Achieving such a high level of success with only once a month practice game is truly commendable...
Also to Alexander Medalla... Finishing with a score of 5.5 with no formal training, just pure self-learning, dedication and with coaching. It reinforces that chess is a true reflection of strategic intelligence. Lastly to Daren Luke Morales with a score of 5.0 points..Knowing he is keeping light and playing for fun but the result is impressive. It just shows you have got natural intuition and great feel for the game.
