The Young Deaf Summit (YDS) is an annual gathering of Deaf youth leader-advocates from all over the Philippines. The theme for is “Trailblaze”. Through several sharing and learning sessions, we celebrate the various ways by which Deaf Benildeans trailblaze, make history, and light the way for others.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news to the Bicolano Deaf community that our sign language voice interpreter and adviser of Bicolandia Deaf Society, Inc. has passed away this afternoon.
Thanks so much for always helping our Bicolano Deaf community in interpreting and planning the projects of this organization. You had a big heart.
We will never forget you. We will miss you, Ma’am/Ate Alma! May you rest in peace.
