Before I kickstarted my coaching career there were a ton of things that I immersed myself in. Filmmaking, weightlifting, cars, and travel were the things that made me happy. Although I’ve been immersed in weightlifting for a greater part of my life, I’ve decided to go back to the things that gave me passion and happiness.

It’s taken me a while to get the confidence to do this, but aside from expanding my coaching vlogs, I will now get into vlogging for cars, motorbikes, and possibly my other travels.

There are a lot of competitions that I will take part in for Albert’s Olympic Dream and funding is a big factor that we greatly need help with. If you’d subscribe to my YouTube it would hopefully help with funding to help me be there with Albert in his competitions. Link is in my Bio.

The HD LiftOff concluded its first day. The months of planning, the time, effort, and the amount of pressure our team had encountered has been something that not many people can fathom.

But seeing my niece Samantha, pull out a performance that not many 36kg 11 year olds can do just reminds me why we did this competition in the first place.

51/65PR/116PR for our competition makes me so proud that we are doing this for our sport. The awareness and the goal of achieving our dream of spreading our sport in the schools and now on a broader stage speaks of the Legacy of Hidilyn Diaz-Naranjo OLY and what she has done for her country.

Happiest Birthday Albert Ian super proud of your performance for you and our team.

Albert Finally won a Gold medal 🥇 in the Sn**ch with a 141kg Sn**ch, a Gold Medal 🥇 in the Clean and Jerk with 180kg Clean (Junior Asian + World Record), and a 321kg Total (Junior Asian + World Record) 🥇 at 70kg BW.

There are so many things to say about this performance but I always come back to how our team worked together despite not everyone being there. Thank you Coach Diwa and Coach Alvin up in Heaven for trusting in me and Albert. Thank you Jerricson Llanos for keeping Albert in Top shape and despite some setbacks, he was able to do as much as possible on Game Grateful for the National Coaches and the PSC Physio for their help and support during the Game.

Thankful for my Sponsors for helping me be in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 with Albert, you know who you are. Onto the Asian Games where I’m hoping I can be present to help Albert.

Happy Anniversary Hidilyn Diaz-Naranjo OLY and HD Weightlifting Academy.

There’s so much that we’ve been through in the last 5 years since winning in the Olympics, 4 years as a married couple, and 2 years since officially opening the Academy.

So many people have come and gone out of our lives, and we’re grateful for the lessons and the good times. One things for sure, those who’ve stayed have seen our journey and know the challenges and small wins.

At the end of the day we choose each other and that’s the most important. Let’s keep choosing each other and continue to grow with the people that matter the most.
