After years of dreaming, learning, training, and preparing, we are finally ready to welcome you to the Mactan-Cebu Mermaid Academy.
What began as a simple desire to see more mermaids in Kontiki Resort 🥹 slowly grew into something much bigger—a vision of a community where aspiring mermaids could learn, grow, create, and belong.
From the very beginning, MCMA was built with one promise in mind: Excellence and Grace
Without compromising quality, our founder, Xenah Xenah Sumalinog , chose to pursue world-class education and train under 張逸先Afa Zhang | 與水為舞的男子Aqua Performer with MerSoul人魚學校｜台北、台中、高雄人魚學校 , MFI Mermaid Asia Head Instructor and AIDA Freedive Instructor Trainer. And one of the most respected names in the global mermaiding community.
Because if we were going to build a mermaid academy for Cebu, it deserved to be built on a foundation of safety, professionalism, artistry, and the highest standards possible.
Today, that vision finally comes to life. ✨
