The essence of Christmas is a savior was born.
Born to save mankind from sin. Born to deliver men from eternal damnation in hell.
Unfortunately during Christmas, people indulge more on sinful activities,they think of it as fun and a means to enjoy the holiday season in which I believe it grieves the messiah.
Remember Christmas is a rescue mission,a mission to deliver men from the consequence of sin.

Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord".

Please be reminded Christmas is not a time of carousing and indulging in all sorts of fleshly indulgence, in reality it is a time of deep meditation and thanksgiving for His goodness.
