Niรฑo Jay Dospueblos delivered a performance built on leverage, timing and relentless work around the rim, producing 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block in Sacred Heart Academyโs gripping 65โ60 victory over GreatMinds Team B.
Dospueblos converted 6-of-11 from the field, generating his offense almost entirely inside the arc. Five of his eight rebounds came on the offensive glass, repeatedly extending possessions and giving the Flaming Warriors additional opportunities in a game defined by narrow margins.
His impact became even more valuable as the contest tightened. With the lead changing hands 10 times and the score tied on seven occasions, Dospueblos provided stability in the middle and delivered a critical basket during the final minute.
After trailing 58โ55 late in the fourth quarter, Sacred Heart responded with a decisive 10โ2 closing run. The Flaming Warriors controlled the interior, winning the paint battle 42โ26, and displayed superior composure when every possession carried maximum consequence.
