ICCAC-CAF UPDATE | CTE Torchbearers ignite new flame, claims ICCAC-CAF ‘25 titles

College of Teacher Education (CTE) Torchbearers turned the flame blue in both Intercollegiate and Campuses Athletic Competition - Culture and Arts Festival (ICCAC - CAF) 2025 podium, Southern Luzon State University (SLSU), May 5-9.

Halting the much anticipated 14-peat dynasty of College of Engineering (CEn) FUEL, Torchbearers came back stronger from fourth place in last year’s ICCAC, sn**ching 47 gold, 39 silver, and 27 bronze medals.

Torchbearers amassed gold from individual and team events such as tennis, archery, dance sports, swimming, futsal, badminton, arnis, basketball, chess, karate-do and taekwondo.

College of Industrial Technology (CIT) Warriors overtook the defending champion with 29 gold, 11 silver, and 22 bronze medals, knocking down CEn FUEL’s 23 gold, 40 silver, 32 bronze medals to the last ICCAC podium spot.

The hailed champ also secured their three-win streak in this year's CAF after accumulating a total of 114 points from placing first in charcoal rendering, classic guitar, and contemporary dance - solo and group, dancing battle king and queen, street dance, kundiman and vocal solo.

CEn FUEL and College of Administration, Business, Hospitality and Accountancy (CABHA) Jaguars held onto their second and third CAF spots with 88 and 55 points, respectively.

ICCAC ’25 UPDATES | Undefeated Warriors slash Scorpions, crowned as 4-peat champions

After an intense clash of swords and stingers, College of Industrial Technology (CIT) Warriors sheaths victory over Tayabas, 3-1, 9-A-side football, ICCAC ’25, SLSU Football Field, May 9.

Despite injuries from sharp exchange of kicks, Warriors’ resilience cracked Scorpions’ defenses, leading them to yield to a silver finish.

Meanwhile, Polillo Seahawks sn**ches bronze after edging out CEn FUELs, 5-3.

ICCAC ‘25 | Lady Python bites gold in javelin throw

Aiming for the perfect launch, Tiaong Lady Python Julia Arzadon hurled to gold with 23.92-m throw in the women’s javelin, ICCAC-CAF ‘25, Paaralang Elementarya ng Lucban, May 7.

CTE Lady Torchbearer Carla Joy Rogelio gained silver with a mark of 19.70 meters, while College of Agriculture (CAg) Lady Eagle Jannila Buchan took bronze with a mark of 16.85-meters.

ICCAC ‘25 UPDATES | Tayabas Scorpion grabs gold in javelin throw

Braving the rain with a steady run-up and clean release, Tayabas Scorpion Jaymark Marco launched a 37.38-meter throw to sn**ch the gold in the javelin event, ICCAC-CAF 2025, Paaralang Elementarya ng Lucban (PEL) 1, May 7.

Marco kept his grip on the lead even as fellow Scorpion Jelwen James Enriquez closed in with a 36.63-meter mark, earning silver for Tayabas.

Meanwhile, College of Industrial Technology (CIT) Warrior Ronnel Baula clinched the bronze with a strong 35.36-meter throw.
