URGENT CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – GF GC8 PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

FHI 360/Philippines (www.fhi360.org) through Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) GHS project in the Philippines is seeking applications for a Consultant to Support the Development of the Philippines’ HIV/AIDS Proposal for the Global Fund Grant Cycle 8 (2027–2029).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in public health, health sciences, and other related fields, OR experience in the health sector or HIV - Prevention, Treatment, and Care programs

Target Engagement Period:
May to August 15, 2026

Sa pagdiriwang ng Zero Discrimination Day ngayong 1 Marso 2026, pinagtitibay ng Commission on Human Rights ang paninindigang “People First.” Ito'y panawagan na unahin ang dignidad at karapatan ng bawat tao, kabilang ang mga nabubuhay na may HIV at mga nasa panganib na magkaroon nito.

Sa Pilipinas, patuloy na nakararanas ng diskriminasyon ang mga taong may HIV—sa komunidad, sa trabaho, at maging sa healthcare settings. Dahil sa stigma, marami ang nag-aatubiling magpa-test, mag-avail ng prevention services, o magpatuloy sa gamutan na siyang kritikal na mga hakbang para mapanatiling mababa ang HIV transmission at mapigilan ang AIDS.

Mariin nating ipinapaalala na ang HIV ay isyung pangkalusugan, hindi moral na pagkukulang. Sa pamamagitan ng makataong polisiya, dekalidad at mapagkalingang serbisyo, at pagpapalakas sa mga inisyatibang pangkomunidad, maisusulong natin ang isang lipunang nakaugat sa pagkakapantay-pantay at karapatang pantao.
