Every song brings something out of you. Sometimes, it brings you back...

Had a moment today. when I sat down and learn my student's new song, it took me straight to my punk days😅 ung wla pang masyadong building sa BGC, ang sarap mag skate board dun!!! Kakamiss

More than the sound, the message of the song hits! There's something real in punk songs💕

And honestly, I've changed. I don't listen to the same music the same way anymore.

But I don't ignore my past influences..
because that part of me still helps me understand and relate to my students today.

Practice isn’t clean.
It’s repetition, mistakes, adjustments… and doing it again.

I go through this too.
So, when I push you, it’s not random,
it’s what growth requires.

Stay teachable. Keep showing up.
