UCLM Baby Webmasters Advance to Junior MCBL Semis

The University of Cebu, Lapu-lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) Baby Webmasters are now headed to the semi-finals of the Junior Metro Cebu Basketball League (Jr. MCBL) under 18 category after defeating the University of Cebu Main (UCMN), 86-64 in the Quarter Finals on Monday, May 11, 2026, at City Sports Club Cebu.

The Baby Webmasters showcased an exemplary 3-2 record in the league, while looking further to stretch their standing in the upcoming match.

UCLM Baby Webmasters Crush DBTC Greywolves by 21 in Final Elimination Assignment

The University of Cebu Lapu-lapu and Mandaue (UCLM) Baby Webmasters crush the Don Bosco Technical School (DBTC) Baby Greywolves by 21 points in their last matchup of the CESAFI basketball elimination round on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the University of San Carlos (USC) Downtown Campus Gym.

The 21-point victory marked the team’s largest margin this season, with Rain Lie Pequit propelling the Webmasters to their 8th win with 10 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals. Wade Adam Luche and Rafael Calo contributed 12 points each, while Isaiah Ezekiel Pelegria dropped another 10.

Despite the mid-season setbacks, the team ended the elimination on a high note, sealing the top-seeded spot in the final four and heading into the semis with a twice-to-beat advantage.

The Webmasters now shift into preparation mode as they brace for a thrilling Sunday matchup with the formidable Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Dragons.|via Britney Branzuela
