The Cavite Regional Football Association (CAREFA) stands in full support of Coach Rene Comprendio and his family during this very difficult time.

Coach Rene has dedicated much of his life to developing football in our communities and shaping the lives of countless young athletes. Many players, scholars, and coaches today carry the lessons, discipline, and passion for the game that he tirelessly shared both on and off the field.

Today, Coach Rene is bravely battling Stage 4 Lung Cancer, and his family humbly asks for our help as they face the challenges ahead. As one football community, we come together not only as players and coaches, but as a family that supports one another in times of need.

NAGA CITY RECLAIMS PALARONG BICOL CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆☝️

#𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 | Naga City emerges as the Overall Champion of the Palarong Bicol 2026 after finishing with a commanding 77 gold medals in the regional sports meet held in Legazpi City.

Among the 13 competing divisions, Naga City secured the top spot in the final medal tally, followed by Albay with 65 gold medals, Camarines Norte with 56 gold medals, Legazpi City with 48 gold medals, and Camarines Sur with 47 gold medals.

This victory marks Naga City’s stronghold in the regional meet, following its championship streak in 2023 and 2024.

The week-long athletic meet gathered student-athletes from across the Bicol Region, showcasing talent, discipline, and competitive spirit in various sporting events.

Philippine U16 Boys National Team are Champions of the Lion City Cup 2025 in Singapore after defeating Cambodia (3-1), Singapore (2-0) and a draw with Hong Kong (1-1). The young squad emerged as champions after Singapore defeated Hong Kong 4-1 in the final match.

Our hearts are with the victims, their families and Vancouver’s Filipino community. 💙
