Because of the PVF initiated participation of the PHILIPPINE U17 YOUTH GIRLS in Thailand last October 2014 since 2008. The Philippines moved 36 places up to rank 30th in the FIVB World Rankings for U18 Girls. The NEW FIVB Volleyball Rules: The Net Touch Rule The FIVB has approved a change to Rule 11.3 to apply to both Volleyball & Beach VB so that contact with the net by a player between the antennae, during the action of playing the ball, is now a fault.
