Thank you to the UST community who made the effort to spend an evening with our Golden Tigresses yesterday!

Truly one of the biggest blessings of playing for UST is having passionate, generous, and hardworking supporters ready to give their all for you on and off the court. 🐅

While we already shared how grateful we are to Kapitana Detdet Pepito, we would also like to thank our feisty lefty Jonna Perdido and our pocket rocket Xyza Gula for giving their all for UST and our community in the years they played for the España squad.

Jonna, you turned every moment you were at the receiving end of your coaches' straightforward, no-sugarcoating talks in training and in games and somehow into fuel to become the player you are today. Strong-willed. Focused. Resilient.

And Xyza, you are a tradition-extending player for UST who keeps proving that even though height is might, heart is just as important. And that energy? Truly Xyzaming.

We wish you three the best of luck in the pros. Any team would be lucky to have hardworking, smart, and gritty Golden Tigresses like you are.

And so now, this opens up new spaces in our UST community's heart for new names to love, new Golden Tigresses to root for, and new hope to rise.

The UST Junior Golden Tigresses are the champions of the recently-concluded National Finals of the PNVF U18 Akari Cup held in Candon City!

THE LITTLEST TIGRESS WITH THE BIGGEST HEART 🐅

This team and community have been spoiled for 11 years. Because whenever an attack would go past our blockers, there is always a silent comfort in our heads saying: "Nandyan si Detdet sa likod."

It would feel different from this point on to have somebody else manning the defense for UST. It would even feel wrong at the start. But you have become such a great leader that we know you will be leaving the Tigers' lair with everything in place, from the process and discipline, all the way to your successor.

Hindi sapat ang mga salita but here we are trying. Maraming salamat, Kapitana Detdet Pepito!

For choosing UST.

For fighting for UST.

For teaching the young kids how to love UST.

Just like the eternal love the likes of Maizo, Laure, Rondina, and more continue to receive to this day, you, too, will always and forever be a QUEEN TIGRESS.
