July is National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about cleft lip and palate and the importance of early intervention, accessible healthcare, and multidisciplinary care. 🫂

💡Did you know? In the Philippines, approximately 1 in every 1,000 babies is born with a cleft lip and/or palate.

Through early diagnosis, timely treatment, and the support of healthcare professionals, including speech-language pathologists, children with cleft conditions can build the skills they need to communicate, eat, and thrive. 🗣️

Together, let's promote awareness, foster inclusion, and support every individual's journey toward confident communication! 💪
