“What’s the difference between Gi and No-Gi?”

In Gi, students train using the traditional uniform—learning grips, control, and proper positioning. It slows things down and helps them understand technique step by step.

In No-Gi, students train in rashguards and shorts focusing more on movement, balance, and body control. It’s faster-paced and builds reaction and athleticism.

Both styles complement each other and help develop confidence, discipline, and real self-defense skills.
