Breathe, exhale – join a tree walk in the Metro MANILA, Philippines — A number of city dwellers recently escaped the heat by gathering under the shade of trees in one of the few green spaces in Metro Manila. On the International Day of Forests

Participants must carry the following equipment during 11 Degrees North Orienteering Championships. Random gear checks may be conducted.

Be prepared. Navigate well.

On March 20, 2026, the 11° North Orienteering Championships will take place in Tacloban City.

All teams will receive official racer tops to help them take on the route we’ve prepared. On top of that, participants will also get finisher’s medals, special prizes, food packs, and a free land navigation refresher course a day before race day.

In 2024, we hosted the first-ever 11° North Orienteering Championships—a navigation-centric race designed to add some spice to the “off-season” of adventure racing in our region.

The goal was simple: to bring more awareness to orienteering, land navigation, and racing, while showing that Team Dirt is more than just a race team—we give back to the community through events that are close to our hearts.

This March 20, 2026, we’re bringing you the second edition of the 11 Degrees North Orienteering Championships

Same goals as before—but with much tougher routes.

This year, we’re focusing solely on tandem teams, where teammates must work through the map, compass, and physical demands together, inching closer to a full-blown adventure race.

Will the current 11° North Champions defend their podium spots, or will a new crop of racers rise to take their place?

“That which is beautiful is as difficult as they are rare.”

To the teams who braved the course and to everyone who took part in LA ROUTA 2025, I am sure we all carry moments that were difficult, rare, and beautiful, which taught us lessons and gave us experiences that will stay with us for a long time.

Thank you to everyone who made LA ROUTA 2025 possible. The success of this event is never mine alone, but a collective effort from all who took part: our co-organizers, sponsors, marshals, volunteers, and, of course, our racers. Each of us played a role, and each role mattered. Together, we made it happen.

Congratulations to all of us.

The race may be over, but the adventure continues. And remember, we do this for the challenge and maybe a little bit of madness…
