Known for his leadership, strong defensive awareness, and ability to command his teammates on the pitch, he made a significant impact this season. His performance in the unforgettable match against the Ateneo de Manila University stood out, especially during a challenging game marked by suspensions that tested the team’s resilience. A young player already proving his value on the field.

RECAP: UE vs DLSU 🔴⚪️

The Red Warriors faced the DLSU Green Archers with grit and pride last January 25, 2026, standing tall from kickoff to the final whistle.

Leading the charge was Team Captain Nicho Sumanoy, alongside Miguel Amador, Jaymark Hernan, and Mark Rainier Maghinay. Seniors Ronniel Ebbah and JJ Pamati-an anchored the squad with experience and composure, while our rookies — Francis Maturan, Harvey Salamoding, Christian Tio, Bryan Benegian II, and Rinier Yangco — stepped onto the pitch with courage and determination beyond their years.

Though the final score favored DLSU, this match was a testament to the unity of veterans and newcomers fighting as one. Every game builds character. Every challenge strengthens resolve.

Heads high, Red Warriors. We learn, we adjust, and we come back stronger. 🔴⚽️

RECAP: UE vs ADU Game 🔴⚪️

It was a fierce battle last January 15, 2026.

The Red Warriors came out blazing, with UEMFT co-captain Nicho Sumanoy striking twice to give UE an early 2–0 advantage. Adamson answered with one before halftime, but the Warriors showed heart and intensity from the first whistle to the last.

In goal, Niño Tambilawan stood tall in the first half, making crucial saves to protect the lead, while Yen Cloma stepped up in the second half with composure and grit between the posts.

Though the match ended 2–4, in favor of Adamson, this game showed the fight, leadership, and character of the UE Men’s Football Team. We move forward stronger, sharper, and more united.

LAST GAME FOR SEASON 88 🫡

In January 25, the UE Red Warriors in action attempted to bag a win as they are on their last game this season. Full of defense were done in the first half and full of scoring attempts in the second half. The game held showed how each player from team captain Nicho Sumanoy to defenders, midfielders and wingers in their match against DLSU Green Archers in the UAAP Season 88 Men's Football Tournament at UP Diliman Football Stadium.

A nonbearing game, but their loss did not mark failure but an opportunity to seek development and what the next season can bring.

Let's continue to support the UE Men's Football Team as they end their season and support them next season!

TOO CLOSE TO SOUGHT THE FALCON'S EYE

Last January 15, the UE Red Warriors started the first half with full force and determination as Nicho Sumanoy scored two in the 14th and 17th minute in the UAAP Season 88 Men's Football Tournament at UP Diliman Football Stadium.

The nonbearing game is still their match to redeem the team after a loss against the Soaring Falcons in the first round. The second half became a factor of the outcome as defense line were challenged, but despite it all, the team was at their best performance.

Let's continue to support the UE Men's Football Team as they are down to their last game on January 25, 2 P.M., same venue.
