In their ongoing match 🆚 Türkiye, the Bulgarian setter may have injured his ankle. He had to be carried off the court.
We hope it’s nothing serious and he can come back stronger with Bulgaria in their upcoming matches and also at the World Champs in September.

Cuban middle blocker Roamy Alonso changed his national team jersey number from 1️⃣7️⃣ to 2️⃣1️⃣ to pay tribute to his girlfriend 🕊️ VICTORIA PILAR 🕊️ who passed away last August 29, 2024.
Pilar, who played for Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 wearing 21, died at the age of 29 due to natural causes.
Roamy, thank you for this beautiful tribute to Victoria. The community will always remember her.

🇹🇭 Ajcharaporn Kongyot was visibly emotional after the match, unable to hold back tears as she reflected on her performance. Scoring just 2 points in Thailand’s match against a strong 🇹🇷 Türkiye side, the star outside hitter expressed disappointment in herself.
It marked Thailand’s third consecutive defeat in the , adding to the team’s growing frustration.
